  Are those who make contributions at assemblies or meetings given a detailed report on what the contributions are spent on or do they simply trust that they are being spent wisely?

  Would it be improper for a JW especially a sister or a brother who holds no position, to ask to see a detailed report of the congregations spending?

  Are JW's provided with the "business plan" of the organization or are they free to see leaderships meeting agendas or sit in on their meetings or view videos of their leaders discussing matters pertaining to the future of the organization they are finically supporting?

  Discrimination is discrimination, racism is racism and prejudice is prejudice. Anyone can engage in such behavior and these behaviors can be acted out or experienced on an individual/personal basis or in a systemic/ institutional way.

  The demand for equality for all, has made it so that anyone in a position of power or advantage,(males, whites, the wealthy, corporations, teachers, police, politicians etc) are now held to a higher standard when it comes to these matters. When a person in a position of power discriminates against someone with no power, the consequences can be devastating to the one discriminated against. When a person in a position of power or advantage is discriminated against by someone who isn't in such a position, the consequences are typically less far reaching. This is why there seems to be a double standard. It's not Ok for men to make generalizations about women but women can say horrible things about men in general without being accused of being sexist. It's not Ok for White people to make generalizations about persons of color but they are free to make generalizations about whites without being considered racist. If heterosexuals make generalizations about Gay people, they're called homophobic.

  The problem lies with some who have used their position of power to make it virtually impossible for the powerless to gain equality. From the big boy or girl bully in the playground to the powerful King or Queen waring with a weak country, this has been one of mankinds main problems throughout history and it has happened among every race and nationality. It happens in governments and in our time in history white people happen to be the ones left holding the bag. When measures are taken to remedy the situation, it comes across as a war on white people rather than as an attempt to bring equality to all.

  Keeping racism alive is a money maker. Thanks in part to the media and to the race hustlers, rather than presenting the issue as institutional or systemic or as an ongoing human issue, they make sure to play upon our narcissistic human tendencies. They make sure people are taking it personally as if it is about them or happening to them. White individuals who may have no more power than anyone else and who have never treated anyone unfairly, feel as if they are being blamed/punished for the wrongs committed by others and persons of color feel as if whites are generally out to get them and on it goes.

  In a statement, Watchtower director Terry O’Brien denied the ACNC had moved to strip the organisation of its charity registration. “The ACNC has assured the - directors that they do not intend to revoke Watchtower Australia’s charity status,” Mr O’Brien said.

  
  

  If what O'Brien says is true, and the ACNC didn't move to have their charitable status removed, then why did the Watchtower file for a review of the ACNC's decision?

  I haven't been able to find anything however on their daughter.

  He became a JW in the 80's when he was in his late 30's when the end was right around the corner. He's now 76 years old and I heard he was recently reproved for serving Graham crackers at his zoom Memorial. I'm guessing that between his son Darric and his daughter Latia, he probably has Graham-kids by now.

  So much for the typical funeral parlor decorations and color scheme that Jehovah used to like . I notice that the JW's did leave some of their tracts in the pockets behind each seat before they left .

  Anyway...a good JW would have no problem coming up with any number of rationalizations as to why this is not only ok but is Jehovah's will. They could one day rationalize using the mostly idle JW printing facilities to print up the religious literature of other religions for them and make it look like it was Jehovah's direction.

  I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I've noticed that for the last 5-6 months I can't tolerate watching any movie or TV show that has black people in it if it's based on the fact that they're black or if they continually feel the need to mention the fact that they are black rather than simply telling the story and assuming we are able to conclude that for ourselves. It sees as if someone out there is determined to keep us aware of race and keep us from ever simply seeing each other as people who are similar in more ways than we are dissimilar.

  Aussie covid situation I got vaccinated anyone else?

  record 747,000 new cases yesterday but in australia we have no new infections except people flying into quarantine from other countries.

  we are 116th with 29,000 confirmed cases.

  i work in a hospital so received astra zenica vaccine 2 weeks ago with no bad symptoms.

  2 Pfizer shots no sides except for sore injection site. Less so with 2nd shot. Wife had flu like symptoms for 1 day after 2nd shot.

  remember when the public speaker in the kingdom hall or convention related the ten plagues and the parting of the red sea?.

  the finale when jehovah closes the red sea and swallows pharaoh's entire army of egyptian men.. when i was a little kid about 5 years old and listened to this story, i would think---wow jehovah is strong.

  when i started school and started learning compassion as early as the first grade i started wondering?????.

  As a kid I used to wonder:
  

  If all the first born were killed, what happened to twins?

  If the Egyptian army rushed into the dry river bed after the Israelites and were swallowed up by the water, who was left to travel all the way back to the City to report what happened?

  I was told that if I wasn't careful, I'd think my way right out of the Truth.

  my guess is that they are hoping that this somehow brings in converts.
